The short version: we collect nothing about you.
What this site stores on your device
One thing, and only once you change it from the default: whether you prefer the light or dark theme. It lives in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your browser, we cannot read it, and clearing your browsing data removes it. This site sets no cookies of any kind.
What we collect about you
Nothing. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no advertising network and no third-party script anywhere on this site. Fonts are served from our own machine rather than a font service, so no outside company learns about your visit either.
Server logs
Like every web server, ours writes standard access entries: the network address a request came from, the time, the page asked for, which page on this site linked to it, and the browser's user agent string. These are kept briefly so faults and abuse can be investigated. They are not turned into statistics, not combined with anything else, and not shared.
If you use the contact form
Your name, address and message are sent to us as an email. They are not written to a database and not kept on the web server. We hold the email for as long as we need it to deal with what you wrote, then delete it. To stop automated abuse the server keeps a one-way hash of your network address for up to an hour so it can count repeat submissions. A hash cannot be turned back into an address, and the file is deleted automatically.
Who we share with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise pass anything on. Our web host processes the site on our behalf and is bound to do nothing else with it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet. Because we hold nothing beyond the emails you chose to send us, such a request is usually simple to answer. Use the contact form.
Changes to this page
If this page changes, the date above changes with it. We do not quietly revise it.
